Preserving Our Stories: Starting Your Family Archive Guidebook

Hmong Community Fellowship with Ramsey County Historical Society and Center for Hmong Studies

As part of this fellowship, I created a family archiving resource guide informed by my perspective as a Hmong woman. The guide is intended to support individuals and families who are interested in preserving their own family archives.

This work was developed through conversations with local professionals in the Twin Cities, guidance from community leaders and organizations, and personal reflection. It also included discussions with my mother to better understand the traditions and practices that have been passed down in my own family.
