Personal Assistant on Outkasts a Project by Katie Ka Vang

Outkasts is written by Hmong Author and playwright Katie Ka Vang. I had the opportunity to be a personal assistant on the set during the filming of the pilot. This was a new endeavor and a great opportunity to learn about film, acting, and additional forms of art.

I worked the first two days of filming and learned lots. Filming took place at the home of Kathy Mouacheupao, a pioneer for Hmong people in the Arts in the state of Minnesota.
